As an extension to Vidicode's Single line Call Recorders, we are happy to annouce that the Call Recorder Single Digital is now available.

The Call Recorder Single Digital is a digital telephone recorder for two-wire (Up0) or four-wire (S0) telephony. It has an internal Compact Flash Card, a SD Card slot and a network interface.

The Single Digital is designed for continuous unattended recording. It can be connected to two types of digital telephony, ISDN (S0 or S/T interface) or two-wire digital telephony (Up0 interface). In both situations the Single digital is connected between the network and the telephone system and all digital channels pass through the recorder. Every call is recorded because the line is passing the recorder.

All recordings are stored digitally on the internal Compact Flash Card. The large storage capacity of the Compact Flash Card ensures the ability of long term unattended recording. The capacity of a (16GB) Compact Flash Card is in recording time at least 500 hours uncompressed and 2500 hours with compression.
Recordings are randomly accessible.

Stored recordings can also be accessed on PC’s via the LAN using the optional Call Recorder Access System software. Recordings can be copied from the internal drive to a removable SD card. Copying recordings to SD card can be used to transfer one or more important recordings in a fast and easy way. It is possible to copy single recordings or a selection of recordings.

The Single Digital allows the user to listen to ongoing calls through the internal speaker; this is called the Monitor function. The volume of the internal speaker can be adjusted. The Single Digital also allows for the connection of a headset. The headset can be used to monitor ongoing calls and to listen to stored recordings.
