The sales people and support engineers translate the requirements of the market into product ideas. The hardware and software engineers take these ideas and combine them with their own vision on hardware and software and invent new applications. The production department in turn brings in suggestions to improve quality and optimise production. It is a unique situation where R&D and production are in the same building and the offices of engineers are connected to the production floor.
